Information About Admissions To Nursery

Applications for Cleator Moor Nursery School are welcome from any area.

Parents must fill in an LA application form before the official closing date. The Nursery School can provide an application form on request.

Children are admitted the term following their third birthday.

The County’s Admission Policy is followed.

In the latter half of the term prior to their child starting parents will receive a Cleator Moor Nursery School Admission Form and can choose morning or afternoon sessions where available (Parents are welcome to pop into the Nursery to have a look around with or without their child.)

Towards the end of this term parents will receive a letter advising them of their child’s group (ie Dolphin, Panda, or Penguin). The letter will also include details of their Home Visit date and initial visit dates and times.

An Open Evening for new parents is held in early September when children’s Nursery Sweatshirts and Polo Shirts are on display and can be purchased/ordered if wished.
